Over the span of more than twenty years in his profession, Sultan Khoosat has established himself as a symbol of fearlessness in the arts, ingenuity in creative expression, and originality. Sultan Khoosat's lineage can be traced back to India. Initially, he embarked on his artistic journey as a painter and attained a degree from what is presently known as the National College of Art and Design (NCA), formerly referred to as the Mayo School of Arts. Following his graduation, he delved into the realm of film and radio, while also working as an Art Director. Eventually, he achieved tremendous success as the host of a vibrant live morning show on the radio. Additionally, Sultan Khoosat exhibited his skills as a songwriter and screenwriter, showcasing his multifaceted talents. Concurrently, he pursued a career in theatre, leaving an indelible mark with notable works such as Saath Laakh (1957), Pholay Khan (1957), and Pattan (1955).

Zahida Butt started her journey in the media industry as a Radio Broadcaster, referred to as RJ today. This was a time when radio dramas held significant popularity, and Zahida Butt actively participated in numerous productions. Following her tenure in radio, she transitioned to PTV (Pakistan Television) where she served as a Punjabi newscaster. With her talents as a newsreader and broadcaster, Zahida Butt gained recognition and became well-known within the media industry. Furthermore, she ventured into stage productions, showcasing her acting skills. Her career as a radio broadcaster thrived until 1986, marking her notable success in this field.

Sarmad Sultan Khoosat is a trailblazing Pakistani director, actor, producer & screenwriter, taking Pakistan from Cannes to Busan & beyond!
As a director, he is best known for his feature films: Zindagi Tamasha (which won the top prize at Busan Film Festival in 2019 and was Pakistan's official submission to the 93rd Oscars) and Manto (which received tremendous critical acclaim internationally).
As a producer, Sarmad & Khoosat Films made history when Joyland became the first Pakistani film to screen at Cannes & win the Jury Prize in Un Certain Regard.
With a career spanning 20+ years, Sarmad has directed some of South Asia's most celebrated Film & TV projects, such as Manto, Humsafar & Shehr-e-Zaat. In 2016, he was awarded the prestigious Pride of Performance Medal (highest civilian award conferred by the President of Pakistan) for his outstanding contribution to Pakistan's Film & TV industry.
His latest release, Kamli, is amassing rave reviews from critics & audiences alike.
